We are thrilled to announce that Jacques-André Dupont photos got a whole lot of recognition at the 2018 Fine Art Photography Awards in London,England, as 15 were nominated in the Wildlife/Animals category and 2 in the Landscape category.

Jacques-André tells the story behind a winning image
The image Last Elephant Standing was taken in Chobe National Park in Botswana, one of the most extraordinary wildlife sanctuary you can visit in Africa. Every day, elephants will congregate at the river to have access to its fresh waters. But at sunset, elephants will hike back towards the safe grounds of the forest. This elephant was the last one of the herd to leave the shores of the river. I wanted to communicate the amplitude of the landscape by including this lonely animal in the image.
